Has Paul mislead all of Christianity into spiritual darkness?

Jesus warned not to follow those that say they see a flash of light in the wilderness. Paul said he saw a flash of light on the road to damascus. So why would god choose a murderer like Paul to lead the way when Paul never laid eyes on Jesus and was a murderer of Jesus followers. Could it be that Paul stopped killing his followers and decided to start his own church. Or did Constantine like what Paul said and added his records to a book we no are being mislead by. God would never approve of 66 books of the bible. 6 fallsshort and everything paul wrote is really just his oopinionand he goes against Christ many times.
